We spent a great day in Boston
We got to sample 3 beers - the Boston Lager, a Summer Ale, and a special black and gold brew they made in celebration of the Boston Bruins - would highly recommend this tour. VERY hard to park near the brewery - park someplace else and take the train. |
After the brewery, we hopped on the party trolley and headed over to Doyle's for lunch. Good food (great lobster rolls) - and a free beer glass with your ticket from the Sam Adams tour |
Drunk? Homeless? Sleeping one off? Not really sure - but this was going on outside The Black Rose. Lots of people out enjoying the beautiful day (and the Bruins won). |
The Black Rose - we stopped here for a drink and to watch the Kentucky Derby (yes, we bet on Wicked Strong). Great sangria! |
Drunk? Homeless? Sleeping one off? This was going on outside Ned Devine's (Hey Boston, I'm sensing a theme here) |
Went here for dinner - sat outside and people watched a bit - a LOT of bachelorette parties walking around. Ladies, be grateful I didn't take a picture of the way some of you were carrying on. ;) This place sold the most amazing drink - Lemon Blossom - yum! |
A post-dinner stroll through the food colonnade |
Lots of vendor carts set up selling trinkets and tchotchkes - but these were really pretty. |
