I read the suggestions online as to how to take fireworks pictures - of course, it's kind of tough when you don't actually go anyplace to see organized fireworks, but instead sit in the front yard and wait to see what your neighbors blow up. I was able to get several pictures, but any advice on how to get them better in focus would be tremendously appreciated.
Using a tripod and a 70-300mm lens (set to 300mm), I did a 4" exposure, ISO 100, f/11, vibration compensation set to off, manual focus set to just a bit before infinity. These are the jpgs, I did shoot in jpg & raw, so I have raw files that I could edit if that would help.

I went insane on this one and tried a 10" exposure. |
